Joan Català creates a captivating gestural poetry using simple objects: a wooden post, a bucket, and a few belts and ropes. Throughout the performance, he engages in an unusual duet with the pole, measuring it, manipulating it, and taming it with a striking grace. Every movement seems to tell a story: does he want to reach the top of the pole, or surrender to the present moment?
